Heating of cylindrical tools, extrusion cylinders and for other industrial heating applications.

Construction:

Electrical tubular heating element cast in aluminium or brass. The contact surface has been machined for good heat transfer. Cylinder heating elements are implemented as half-shells whereby the fixing is carried out using retaining straps or cast camping brackets. 

Cast aluminium and brass heating elements are particularly suitable for locations in which moisture or condensate cannot be excluded, or in areas in which severe mechanical loading (e.g. caused by frequent assembly and disassembly) is present. They guarantee an even heat distribution.

Also available with cooling fins for air cooling of extrusion cylinders, or with built in cooling tubes for temperature control using water or oil.

Electrical power supply via contact fittings (plug) up to 16 A/250 V, cable fittings with ceramic terminal or permanently fixed connecting cable.
