Application areas :

Heating of tools and moulds on plastic processing machines and other industrial heating applications.

Construction :

Electrical tubular heating element cast in aluminium or brass. The contact surface has been machined for good heat transfer. Cast aluminium and brass heating elements are particularly suitable for locations in which moisture or condensate cannot be excluded, or in areas in which severe mechanical loading (e.g. caused by frequent assembly and disassembly) is present. They guarantee an even heat distribution.

Implementation types:

• Drill holes can be provided for fixing the heater unit. Can be supplied with sensor bores, thermal brackets and apertures as far as technically possible due to dimensions.
• Electrical power supply via contact fittings (plug) up to 16 A/250 V, cable fittings with ceramic terminal or permanently fixed connecting cable.
