RK 230 Angled Heater, Cast Aluminium or Brass
Application areas:
Heating of tools and moulds in plastic processing machines,
especially on rectangular or square compounding extruder cylinders.
Construction:
Electrical tubular heating element cast in aluminium. The
contact surface has been machined for good heat transfer.
Fixing using cast clamping bracket or with bores for fixing
bolts into the surface.
Cast aluminium heating elements are particularly suitable
for locations in which moisture or condensate cannot be
excluded, or in areas in which severe mechanical loading
(e.g. caused by frequent assembly and disassembly) is present.
They guarantee an even heat distribution.
Can also be supplied with built in cooling tubes for temperature
control using water or oil.
• Electrical power supply via contact fittings (plug) up to
16 A/250 V, cable fittings with ceramic terminal or permanently
fixed connecting cable.
