S3114 Internal baffle cooling element with integrated safety plug
Internal baffles can be easily fixed inside the cooling channel by use of the proper tool.
The rapid fitting technology allows ease of extraction, mechanical fixing and hydraulic sealing in oversized holes of up to 0,4 mm.
Internal baffles were designed for large molds to reduce the baffle length and to optimize the thermal conditioning.
Maximum working pressure changes according to the diameter of the baffle, we advise applying the proper torque forces specified in the technical specifications.
In order to increase the maximum working pressure with baffles diameters of over 16 mm it is necessary to machine a groove inside the channel where the elastic metal ring of the baffle will fit.
A special tool able to perform such machining is available.
